They all sound fabulous and i'm sure i'll be signing up to all of them, but just keep a few things in mind.

  • The products aren't always going to suit your skin concerns or complexion etc so be prepared to have a few products you'll need to give away to other people

  • Signing up to every single service could be more expensive then buying a few full size products a month. So be savvy about it. From what i've seen you can cancel your subscription on the services if you do a monthly subscription so this is always an option.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of these new sample services and i'll be sure to show you all the loot when my first box arrives.

Manicure Monday - I'm Blue Da Ba Di Dab Ah Dah

Here we are at Monday again and I have a killer manicure for you, I apologize if I got that song stuck in your head but it was my intention (hehe).

I'm loving rocking a accent nail on each hand at the moment and I find it a good way to try out some of the polishes I haven't gotten around to swatching plus it also is fun when someone notices "ohhh that finger is a little different".

So what did I use!

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="588" caption="Sally Hansen - Blue Me Away, OPI - Last Friday Night, Seche Vite"][/caption]

The Sally Hansen polish applied like a dream, I did do two coats but easily could have gotten away with 1. The little variants of blue glitter in the OPI Last Friday Night polish (from the Katy Perry collection) has one blue that is a pretty spot on match for Blue Me Away. Match made in heaven? Yeh I kinda think so! I loved this mani and wished I could have rocked it all week but I had to change it up and go a little more demure for work (you'll see that one next week!)

Manicure Monday (on Tuesday) with a little China Glaze Midtown Magic

This polish is an absolute mystery to me, I came across it at the cheapie nail store I visit and it was the only bottle, it was glittery and looked like something from one of the China Glaze Halloween collections so I picked it up.

The sticker on the base of the bottle calls it Midtown Magic, a bit of googling later yes there is a China Glaze polish called Midtown Magic.. but it's not released yet and its burgundy. So i'm very confused!

So this so called Midtown Magic is a pretty deep brown with gold glitter flecks in it, quite similar to this BYS polish I swatched awhile ago. As with most China Glaze polishes the formula is lovely and it's opaque with 2 coats.

My photo of it isn't great but it gives you a bit of an idea of the colour anyway.

If anyone can help me solve this mystery i'd be grateful!
