The Week That Was... #10

I've been so slack, I know. The past week was the last week of the financial year at work and for me, that equals madness. I've just not felt motivated to even think about blogging. Now that's all done and dusted hopefully I have a little more brain space to dedicate to my blog, because I do love it! Anyway onto the week (or 2 weeks...)

- Fluro pink jumper and a bright pink lip heading out to see World War Z. I enjoyed the movie!
- Preparing dinner and watching YouTube, i've never done this before and think it might be a new "thing" of mine.
- Clean Salmon Patties! Healthy and yummy!
- My Picture Polish order, including the collaboration with my girl Chelle from Cosmetic Cupcake called Frosting. I should have a swatch of this on here tomorrow (if I manage not to chip it...pressure's on!).
- Small haul before I saw Denise Scott & Judith Lucy's stand up show. Some new Nespresso pods, a descaler (which is what my Friday night consisted of... Crazy time here!) & the product i've been lusting after Hydraluron! I'm not going to comment yet, I want to use it for a while longer before I review.
- I bought my lunch at work on Friday, which is something I haven't been doing and this is what I ended up with but secretly I wanted hot chips.
- This morning (Sunday) I went for brunch with Chelle & Ange, as usual lots of laughs, a bit of shopping and a really fun day!
- On our shopping expedition (haul video coming soon!). We spotted the new Maybelline Color Whispers and I swatched all the ones that appealed to me... which was most of them. lol. We didn't buy any because we are waiting for sales. Never settle for full price people!
- I also picked up a lippie i've been lusting after and is discontinued! I was almost going to buy this on Ebay but found it even cheaper at this little stall in the middle of the shopping centre. Score!.

On The Blog

Super slack this week, so i'll recap the last 2 weeks!

Manicure Monday - Illamasqua Seance - This is a UV polish and the colour is amazing! From the new Paranormal collection.
The Makeup Edit - June 2013 - What i'll be slapping on my face for the next month. Makeup edits are updated mid-month.
Blush - Essence Wool'd You Cuddle Me? - Goooooorgeous peach blush from the Essence collection Home Sweet Home. So cheap and a beautiful colour.

Random Thoughts
- I think I mentioned in my last TWTW that I was embarking on a 12 week challenge. I've been doing well! I've had a few slip ups but hey i'm only human. My overall diet has been much much better. I didn't get to the gym much last week but hopefully I can make up for that this week. My first lot of measurements are in just over a week so I will update how I go there!
- The rain... So much rain... I mean it's great for the farmers etc but I haven't been able to wash my clothes and dry them in 2 weeks. When we do get a nice day, i'm at work. Ugh!
- Instagram added video this week, expect lots of pooch videos from me :) Speaking of my dogs.. They are bloody adorable and always make my day better!

Last but not least, I wrote about this awhile ago but as of I believe today or tomorrow. Google Reader & Google Friend Connect will be no more. If you haven't already i'd love if you would follow my blog on Bloglovin. If you're after a good blog reader Bloglovin' is the one I use!

Hope everyone has a good week! <3

Here's a song i've been liking lately, it's pop perfection :)

Blush Loving with Essence Home Sweet Home Collection

This post is a bit late going up and I know this collection's stocks are starting to dwindle in stores, but if your lucky enough to find a fully stocked Target; I highly suggest checking out the blush shades in the Essence Home Sweet Home collection.

It's no secret I'm a big fan of anything corally-pink toned on my cheeks so when I saw the Essence Home Sweet Home collection blush in the shade 02 Wool-d You Cuddle Me? (cute name, tick!) I had to pick it up. My initial thought was that it may just be a great dupe for one of my favourite limited edition blushes MAC Ripe Peach (old review with terrible photos). I didn't do a comparison and I really should have but this is a lot more matte then Ripe Peach so I don't really think it is a contender, soz folks.

The best thing about Essence is the price of the items, yes the quality may be hit and miss and personally I find this blush a little on the chalky side but for around a fiver... I couldn't really give a toss. The pigmentation is there and the colour is gorgeous. Side note, how cute is the little "knitted" embossing on the pan? For a cheaper brand they really do put thought into the look of their collections.

I have also since picked up (or actually Chelle kindly found it for me!) the pink toned version named 01 Knits for Chicks (okay don't like this name as much...). I haven't actually opened this to have a play with but I will likely put it into next months Makeup Edit so it can get a little lurve.

If you can find this well lucky you! Your best bet is Target as I believe Priceline didn't stock this particular collection.

The Makeup Edit - June 2013

So again i've trawled through my collection and picked a few items to use for the next month. I've tried to cut down on products a bit so I have less choice and have to be more creative... however once I get started I find other things and i'm like "oohh I want to use that". I must admit it's been fun "shopping" my stash each month!

Rules
  • Some products won't be rotated, this is could be because either they are HG items or I simply don't have something to swap them out with.
  • If i'm doing makeup for a special occasion I can dip into my regular collection, what I select for the edit is mainly for my everyday makeup.
  • I will try and rotate around mid month, it works better for my editorial calendar (haha that sounds so pro...) but mainly because beginning of the month is reserved for my favourites.
  • I will always note products that i'm trialling etc and let me know if you'd like a review! I'll also link to any reviews/swatches I may have already done for any products already in the edit.

Manicure Monday - Illamasqua UV Nail Varnish in Seance

UV??? Yep that's right this polish will glow in the dark! I wish I had a UV light to show the effect & i'm a little old now for the UV lights at a club (totally not my scene anyway!) so for now you'll just have to trust me. It glows!

Other then that the colour is pretty unique. Well to my collection anyway! Kind of a bright violet shade but with a slight silver shimmer running through. Let's just say this was a bi-atch to photograph but to apply it was a dream. One coat would have been sufficient but i'm a two coat gal and that's what you're seeing here.

The finish is actually rather matte, if you can see (again shitty photography aside). I've popped a top coat on the first 2 nails and left the other 2 without it. I actually like this polish both ways! It almost looks as if it is textured without having that weird growth look that textured nail polishes seem to have (anyone else agree?).

The Paranormal collection is on shelves now at selected Myer stores with an Illamasqua counter and this polish retails for RRP $22.50AUD.

The Week That Was... #9

Last weekend was the long weekend, and I took it as just that and didn't even post my weekly roundup. Back again with updates from the past week!

- Snuggling up on the couch with my loves
- The new City & Colour album rocks my world
- You know it's getting cold when the Pug gets her winter wear on.
- Uploaded!
- Cah-Razy Friday night out with friends, we got a Starbucks and were all home by 9pm lol.
- Something you'll be seeing many updates from. I've joined my gyms before & after challenge. I got scary before photos taken and i'm in for 12 weeks!
- Hanging out on the bed on Saturday morning
- Breakfast before Pilates
- Prepping dinner and lunches for the week.. healthy Kale!

On The Blog

Things were a little quiet on the blog front this week, I think getting back into the swing of things after the long weekend was actually quite hard & sometimes you just don't feel like blogging.

Illamasqua Gleam in Supernatural - I went outside my comfort zone with this bronze highlighter, and i'm glad I did!
Latest Videos - May Faves & Empties

Random Thoughts

- Eating healthy is effing expensive! Not veggies etc but all the "other" things like chia seeds. I know these aren't essentials but I like to have them.
- I'm sore... really sore... I did weights at the gym yesterday and Pilates today and i'm hobbling around like an elderly woman. No pain no gain right?
- Still no sign of Hydraluron at Priceline, I also need to stop reading Caroline Hiron's blog because my skincare wishlist is growing beyond belief. I'm planning a blog post about this soon.
- Pretty Little Liars returned this week! I'm still yet to watch the episode.

Video: Faves & Empties

These are my latest two offerings on YouTube. I've managed to stick to doing my monthly favourites every month so far this year! Yay achievement unlocked (almost). I've also managed to get together another lot of empties for a full length video, I hope these arent too few and far between. It's good finishing shit off!

Outside my comfort zone with Illamasqua Gleam in Supernatural

The title says it all, Illamasqua is a good brand to help you step outside your comfort zones and recently I got to check out their new collection entitled "Paranormal". It's spooky names and colours that you wouldn't normally choose (well I wouldn't anyway...) but done in the typical Illamasqua fashion if you can step outside your comfort zone and try something a little different you may just be suprised. As I was.

I was given the Illamasqua Gleam in Supernatural to try out, it's a bronze highlighter that for a fair bear like myself looks a little daunting in pan. As you will see in my swatch photo it looks a little scary for a "highlight" colour. However, blended onto the high points of the cheek it gives you a gorgeous bronzey glow that emphasises the cheekbones and gives you a sunkissed look. I've applied it with quite a heavy hand to show the effect but you can definitely go much sheerer and more natural looking. I've also got a blush on in this picture but you could skip the blush and use this as your main cheek/cheekbone color. This product is also multitasking and would double for a shimmery blush, eyeshadow and possibly even a lip colour. You could do a lot with it.. the possibilities are endless!

Illamasqua Gleam in Supernatural can be purchased from Myer for RRP $28.00AUD. You can also buy online from Illamasqua directly.

Hydraluron is coming to Priceline!

I know I know, this is my 2nd kind of announcement type post in the past month and I said I never do them...Oooooops. This is a product i've been lusting over and finding incredibly difficult to get hold of so when I got the news it was becoming available in Australia and no less in my favourite store Priceline I had to blog about it.

Photo Source: Indeed Labs (slightly edited by me)

What is Hydraluron and why am I so frickin excited?

Hydraluron is a product by Canadian brand Indeed Labs, this is what the website says:

Hydraluron is inspired by injectable hydration and plumping treatments employed in Swiss clinics.

Hydraluron uniquely combines the world's purest hyaluronic acid and a bio-engineered strain of red marine algae causing a controlled increase in blood circulation. This increased circulation optimizes the penetration of the small particles of hyaluronic acid into the key deep layers of the skin and refill spaces formed through the aging process and improve skin structure.

Sounds kind of amazing right? This weather has deemed my skin doomed for the next few months... dry patches like no other and just feeling bleughhhh so i'm hoping this is the boost my skin needs.

I think i've mentioned it before but I am utterly obsessed with Caroline Hiron's blog and reading up on her skincare cheat sheets, well she raved about this product and you can read all about it here.

After stalking the comments on the Priceline Instagram I saw that the product will be retailing for $34.99AUD. I also found out the product will be available from mid June, so keep your peepers out (and tweet me if you see it around Sydney... TA!)

I have a Priceline club voucher that needs to be redeemed and I know what it'll be going towards!

The week that was... #8

- Eyeballin' with P.
- Snug as a bug in a rug
- I got a little organized with my lunches last week...this week so far not so good. Oops!
- Minnie likes to sit on my stuff while I get changed
- I won Keno! $120 baby!
- S made me this yummy scramble eggs with Spinach after I came home from a morning walk/run.. 5kms.. I was dead for 2 days after.
- OPI Ink, so pretty and neglected in my stash
- OMG BEN AND JERRYS! We are not only ripped off with makeup here but also the price of Ben & Jerrys, getting a flavour that suits both S and myself can be quite tough but we were both impressed with this offering.
- You can't see because the photo is shit, but I saw The Great Gatsby with my mum on Sunday, I enjoyed the movie. I haven't seen the original or read the book so I went in with virgin eyes and liked it. I saw a few interviews recently with Baz Luhrman and he's a strange strange man.
- Sunday afternoon cup of tea and my stories.

On The Blog
- Manicure Monday with Maybelline Audacious Asphalt - Picked this baby up at the Chemist Warehouse sale because i've never tried the Maybelline polishes and generally love all things Maybelline. Not sold on the formula yet but the colour is pretty.
The Face #1 - What i'm calling my FOTD posts (which i'm going to try and do more of).

You can also watch my recent Chemist Warehouse sale haul where I picked up a few bargains. Speaking of YouTube i've been waiting to hit 300 subscribers for ages and finally did it this week! I know it's not a lot in comparison to many other YouTubers but for me it's quite an achievement. Thanks again if you subscribe to me, I really appreciate it and because of this I'm planning a giveaway on my channel soon.

Random Thoughts
- I had a big week at work last week, so busy and I was feeling the stress... My face took the brunt of it I think
- I really can't think of anything else... I'm about to go meet the girls for coffee.. WOOOOOOO!

Watch this amazing Sloth video... Yes i'm still obsessed with Sloths.

The Face #1

These posts are basically my FOTD but I wanted to give them a different name. Let's be honest I cant be bothered being creative with every FOTD title name so The Face #whatever is now born.

Today's "The Face" is my pretty much everyday look for work of late, the items used are from this months Makeup Edit except for the lipstick.. I kinda cheated a little on that one and used a newie from my recent haul.
I start off by mixing up Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Shade Buff with Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Shade 100 . I then added the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer under the eyes, I need this because i've been exhausted lately and a bit of brightness under the eyes makes me look more alive.

I then added a slick of the middle shade in the Natio Soft Day Palette this is a nice taupey colour and works well blended out on its own. Almost poked my eye out with the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal in Black applying it to the upper waterline. Tamed my brows with the Australis Extender Lash & Brow* and added a couple of coats of Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara.

Next up was a bit of colour to brighten my face in the form of Stila Convertible Colour in Lillium. A quick powder with Australis Fresh & Flawless powder in Natural. To finish off I put a light coat of Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie on the lips, this shade can get quite dark but since I am going to work I wanted to keep it subtle.

Manicure Monday - Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Audacious Ashphalt

I got this polish on sale at the Chemist Warehouse 1/2 price sale, it retails for $5.95AUD but I paid a measly $2.97. Woo Woo. This is my first polish from the Maybelline Color Show range and from the selection they had was the only colour I was really interested in trying out.

I kept thinking to myself that I was sure I already owned a Maybelline product called Audacious Asphalt and I found that was the name of the grey Maybelline Color Tattoo I own... come on Maybelline surely your marketing team could have come up with a different name?
Anyway enough about the name, let's talk about the actual polish! This applied okay... The first coat was quite streaky but it evened itself out by the 2nd coat and a slick of Seche Vite also helped along any streaking issues I may have had. The shade Audacious Asphalt is a light cool grey which I think brings out the redness in my skin but is nonetheless quite pretty. I wear quite a lot of grey clothes to work and I think this colour while being a little "different" is also work appropriate.

I'm glad I picked up this colour, and for a discount! I think if there are other colours that are released that are unique I would get them, but I don't think I'd go and buy every shade available. My pick for best drugstore nail polish is still the Covergirl Outlast Nail Lacquers which I have previously reviewed & looooooooooove!

The Week That Was... #7

This week has been pretty uneventful, as you'll see with my pretty dismal Instagram pictures this week. Work has started getting hectic which means I have no energy to do anything. Hoping everything calms down a bit this week. Let's get into it!

- Finally passed level 97 on Candy Crush saga! This was killllling me!
- Waiting for someone to let me in the office because i forgot my keys.. thank goodness for coffee.
- S's cricket presentation night was Friday night. Merv Hughes was the guest speaker, not being a cricket fan I got none of the jokes except ones about Shane Warne.
-My monogrammed "A" Peter Alexander PJ's. Love these!
- Got my car washed in one of those touchless car wash things... It did a shit job and was a waste of money. Next time i'll just pay more for a hand car wash.
- Sushi Sunday! This is becoming a ritual for me on Sundays. Not an overly healthy ritual either.

On The Blog
Manicure Monday - This is the YouTube made me do it edition featuring Rimmel Sundowner which I absolutely adore the shade of.
Sukin Purifying Masque - Loving Sukin & loving this mask!
Organizing my Makeup Space - If you enjoy a peek at organization, check this one out.

Random Thoughts

The Chemist Warehouse 1/2 price on cosmetics is running until 30th May! Jump on it quick, I went today and bought a couple of things which I filmed in a short haul video :)

- So it's official i've become a Blockhead.. I started watching it last Monday and now am ready every night at 7 O'Block (haha lamest thing ever!) to watch.
- I want to try and start going to the gym in the mornings before work, I'm not a morning person so i'm not sure if this will happen or not. I appreciate my sleep so so much.

I'm currently obsessed with Caroline Hirons blog, Whenever I read it I extend my skincare wishlist a little everytime. The cheat sheets are absolute gold and the internet better not ever ever lose them.

I also found Sprinkle Bakes blog from a tweet by Mez from Blithely Unaware this week. This blog is so so beautiful and the food looks amazing. I want to try the cinnamon scrolls ASAP!

I'm watching Absolutely Fabulous at the moment, love this show so goddamn much and have seen every episode multiple times.

Lets Organize - My Makeup Space!

I believe this is a trait of Virgo's but I frickin' love organizing!

So my little room where I do all things makeup was looking like it should have been on an episode of Hoarders or needed a do over by the Queens of Clean Kim & Aggi of How Clean Is Your House? (Anyone else love that show? THE BACTERIA THEY FOUND...OMGGGGGGG). My problem isn't bacteria (I hope!) it's just messy and unorganized and got to a point where I was like...fuck it i'll do it next week...and next week..and next week. Eventually I gave in, got up early one morning with a mission in mind and this is how it was achieved.
I only bought a few things to try and get all my crap in check so this is also a budget friendly post! Yay!. First stop was Officeworks where I picked up the Keji 10 Drawer Chrome Trolley This cost me around $38 and I built it myself in around 20mins. I also bought the Keji 4 Drawer Storage Organizer in Clear RRP $14.92AUD This is a dupe (is dupe even a thing when it comes to storage?) for the clear boxes you see the Kardashian Klan (facepalm) use or can purchase for a gazillion dollars more online. I'm sure the ones online are a far superior quality plastic and have fancy knobs (lol!) but this is serving me well. You've probably seen it featured in my MakeUp Edit posts.

I then went to a local shopping centre and picked up a few more bits and bobs to help with my project. I purchased the two heart tins from Kmart for around $5 each. Perfect makeup brush holders! The pink boxes and the little clear box with dividers are all from Daiso for $2.80AUD each (I love that store, it's like Aladdins cave). I've used the pink boxes on my desk for Empties (video coming soon!) and things I need to swatch/photograph for the blog & the little container with dividers is where I stash my cotton pads/tips etc.

So without further ado, and no judgement please! Here are some before & afters.

First up is my dressing table

My desk where I blog.. take photos & now do my filming in front of
There has also been another change here, the lamp, candles & pugs have been swapped to the other side with my pink drawers etc. If you watch my videos you may have already seen this. I just took these photos awhile ago. I probably should have moved those Converse but they are for a DIY project i'm working on ;).

So the new updated and more organized room is going swimmingly! I've managed to keep the mess/clutter down and put my makeup away diligently everyday. It also feels nicer sitting in here and blogging because everything has it's place and working in a tidy environment is just always more productive I feel.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I love reading all things organization and highly recommend watching OrganizedLikeJen on YouTube for great decluttering ideas!

Review: Sukin Purifying Facial Masque

It's been awhile since i've talked face masks with you and to be honest it was something that had started lacking in my skin care routine. I'm happy to say though I've developed a new Sunday night ritual of getting mah mask on and painting my digits for the impending week ahead.

I've been slapping the Sukin Purifying Facial Masque on my face of a Sunday night for the past few weeks and i've been loving the results.

Sukin Says - A gentle treatment to help cleanse, tone and de-stress your skin.
A purifying base of gentle Kaolin clay combined with soothing aloe vera and antioxidant rich rosehip oil will leave skin feeling refreshed, nurtured and completely clean. - Source http://www.sukinorganics.com
Sounds amazing right? Well it is! When first you first apply this mask is feels like a thick moisturiser but then dries down but unlike other clay based masks where your talking is mumbled and you develop a bunch of cracks on your face it doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable (sidenote: was anyone else ever told that if your mask cracked while it dried you'd end up with wrinkles? please say I wasn't the only gullible one.). I think my skin is kinda loving Kaolin clay at the moment. In my recent April Favourites I mentioned the Alpha H Daily Exfoliant I was loving which contained Kaolin and even more recently i've been getting back into using Lush Angels on Bare Skin and guess what one of the ingredients is? Kaolin!

Using this has cleared up my skin quite significantly and the day after? wowza baby soft smooth amazing skin.. I can even wear a foundation that would normally cling to dry spots without the need for a primer. I also think this tub will last me awhile because you don't really need to use too much each time.
What's a mask review without a picture of the blogger wearing said mask... Here you go! My camera hasn't picked up the colour very well but it's a light terracotta red colour in the tub.
You can purchase this mask from Sukin Organics website or from Priceline & Various Chemists for RRP $15.95AUD (so afforable!)

Manicure Monday - YouTube made me do it edition

I purchased this nail polish after seeing Vivianna Does Makeup feature it on her YouTube & Blog.

I'd never tried any Rimmel polishes before so the formula's are completely foreign to me! The Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish RRP $7.95AUD boasts a quick dry time of 60 seconds which is a bit of a selling point for someone like me who paints their nails and can't sit still long enough for them to dry.
Sun Downer is a red which leans very orange and I think it's quite beautiful. Application... this is where it gets a little hairy. The first time I applied this I was about ready to throw it in the bin, to be fair to the polish I was applying it in low light and in a rush as usual. The formula is quite thin so when I first applied it I found it a streaky sheer mess (this is after 2 coats). I also don't believe that it dried in 60 seconds...sorry!

However! With a little more patience when I did these swatch photos I made this work a little better for me. On close inspection there is still VNL (visible nail line) but it's not too much of a bother for me. I also used my holy grail topcoat Seche Vite this time around and it made such a difference, smoothed and evened out the colour on the nail.

Something else I originally loathed but now kinda like is the large brush. You see I have small fingernails (I used to always get giggles from the girls in the nail salon when I had acrylics). So I find some big brushes a bit difficult to work with on my small nail beds. Again with a bit of time and care this worked out well and I only needed 1 swipe on my pinky nail (yep, they're that small!)
I want to try out the other Rimmel London polish formulas because I have heard great things, if you have any rec's of colours i'd love to know!

The Makeup Edit - May 2013

I'm back with this months makeup edit. Doing this last month proved to be quite a success, not only was it easier to get ready of a morning because I only had a small collection of items to choose from but I also found that I used up a few items as well (Empties video coming soon!).

I think this will be here to stay, so without further ado.

Quick note: I'm not showing my daily skin/prep drawer as nothing as really changed. If there is a change here I will show it.

NEWS: Limited Edition Lush Fragrances - Only available for 2 days! QUICK STICKS!

Okay so quite an aggressive title there but if you want to try out these fragrances you will need to be quick. You see Lush let their lovely forumites choose their favourite scents to be turned into a small collection of fragrances to be released online for 2 days only.

Source - Lush Australasia Facebook

First off, the date in the picture here from the facebook is different to what is on the website. On the website it says they are available from 7PM on the 17TH OF MAY.

The scents they have released in this collection are the following (scent descriptions taken from Fragrantica, The Perfumed Court or Lush) -

BigBig is a fresh, tropical scent of the beach, made as an imitation of the popular Big shampoo as a part of the Lush Forum limited collection for the holiday season of 2010. The fragrance features notes of mandarin, neroli, orange blossom and vanilla.

Twilight - Twilight perfume was created as a tribute to the beauty moment between day and night, glittering stars and purple - pink - orange sky. The fragrance is sexy and anti stressful at the same time, made of lavender, ylang-ylang and tonka bean notes. It belongs to the Lush Forum limited collection for the holiday season of 2010.

The ComforterLush The Comforter is a limited edition 2009 Lush perfume, made special from the UK Forum Fragrance Party.  This cannot be purchased from their website nor from any stores. The cypress and bergamot oils in this perfume soothe skin while cassis adds a mysterious and seductive aroma.

Creamy Candy - Sweet, frothy and fluffy bubbles that smell like custard creams. What a delight it is to have a bath in the equivalent of a cup of vanilla flavoured, frothy, hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. The Creamy Candy bath is like the friend you're always delighted to see, because he bubbles over with cheerfulness no matter what life throws at him. For days when your friend is busy, it's time to indulge in some Creamy Candy.

Snowcake - Snowcake is warm and sophisticated sweet smell of marzipan, cuddly and warm during the harsh winter. Irresistible marzipan - almond scent is caused by the combination of rose, cassis and benzoin. The fragrance is an imitation of the famous Lush Snowcake soap as a part of the Forum limited collections for holiday season 2010.

Rose Jam - The beautiful fragrance used in our Rose Jam bubbleroon and Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner has been voted by our customer forum as the one they wanted most as a liquid perfume. The Rose Jam fragrance is light, fresh and modern, with a hint of lemon and sexy geranium oil.

I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of the Creamy Candy perfume to trial and i've been wearing it this past week. I chose this because I felt it was the closest smelling to Snow Fairy which if that was available I would buy 395839532 bottles of. Creamy Candy is similar but definitely not an absolute match :(.

This may just be with this particular scent but when you use this fragrance go at it with a light hand as it's very very strong and overpowering. It's also long lasting on the skin and the scent didn't really change from the bottle to being on my skin. I think this bottle will last me quite awhile because I find one spray on one pulse point (your pick!) of this is enough.

To purchase head to the Lush Website and don't forget it's this weekend only!

I would love to know if you pick up any of the scents and what you think... I'm tempted to also get The Comforter.
