Working on my fitness…

If you follow me on twitter (which you really should) you would probably know that i'm on a health kick/diet of sorts.

It's something that is a long time coming and something I often break due to restrictions I give myself. I guess i'm doing it a bit different. I didn't start it in the New Year for a reason, I hate New Years Resolutions and the fact I never keep them...plus it's so much pressure.

My plan is to give myself one cheat day a week where I obviously won't over indulge but if I want say a can of coke (my absolute vice...along with chocolate) it's okay. Well now i'll be honest i've given myself 2 cheat days this week due to it being easter and the fact I had dinner at my mum and dads twice and my mum is an amazing cook!

Other then the cheat day thing, i've cut out all soft drink (read coke...) and replaced that with either water, diet cordial or green tea. Oh i've also cut out my morning coffee.

I'm also eating breakfast everyday, something i'm really having difficulty getting used to considering I am not a morning person and eating when i'm half asleep is hard!

I won't bore you with my entire meal plan but basically it's balanced with tons of fruit and vegetables and not a lot of carbs, and if they are their brown rice or super grainy bread. Meat wise i'm only eating fish or chicken (breast only)

So now is the whole point of this post really..... sorry for boring you with the other stuff!

I started the 30 Day Shred which is an exercise video by Jillian Michaels (Biggest Loser USA trainer). Basically you do this video for 30 days straight and it has 3 levels which you go up each 10 days.

So today I did Day 1 of Level 1......how was it? hard! how do I feel? I HURT!

I honestly thought I was going to die after the first 5 minutes! Man she works you hard... I think I even called her a bitch at some point!

However I will continue on and try and do it for the whole 30 days without a break. I will update on here every 5 days or so and let you know how i'm feeling and if i'm seeing any changes.

Wish me luck!!!

OOTD Kinda….

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable Easter weekend, and lovely 4 days off if you're lucky like me :)

This is just some pictures from what I wore on Good Friday. We went to my Grandpas for lunch which was nice, catching up with family and all.

Did you see my post about the things I wanted from Supre? Click that link if you haven't. So I actually got a top from there the other night, not on my wish list I posted either! It's a nude colour and just a simple loose fit tee with a pocket on the front with studded detail, here's a picture.

I have also noticed that the whole tons of charms on the end of a long necklace is back in fashion again. Glad I kept my version of this look that I bought at Glebe Markets years ago! Mine even has a Hello Kitty charm on it :)

I also decided to have a bit of fun with my rings... check out my Guns N Roses inspired ring.. sweeet sweet child o miiiiiine woah woah ohhhhh

Last and definitely not least! Is one of my favourite necklaces I have bought from Etsy, it is the lone hopper  very fitting for this holiday weekend. I also bought it because I call my dog Bunny..... yeh weird I know it suits her... I promise!

It's currently 2am and daylight savings is meant to end at some point this morning, I always get confused if the clock goes back or forward!

Hope you're all having a lovely break :)

March Favourites!

We are a couple of days into April now so this is a little late, but I wanted to get to the end of March before I posted anyway... so here are my favourites for March

Snow Fairy by Lush - yummmmmm this is probabaly my favourite smell in the world right now. It's a Shame it's a Christmas exclusive however sometimes Lush has a few things they throw in throughout the year that have the Snow Fairy smell, also Godmother soap which is a permanent soap has this fragrance. I'm actually working on something fun at the moment with my mum with this scent.... can't really say much more yet but all will be revealed in the next few weeks :)

Angels on Bare Skin by Lush - I finally got another tub of it after a long hiatus without it. My skin adores this stuff!

Jurlique Rosewater Freshener - I spray this on my face at night before I put on my Rosehip oil to make my skin damp, it works really well. This is a super old bottle and I know packaging has changed but seriously this stuff lasts forever!

Sally Hansen Kwik Off Nail Polish Remover Tub - An absolute god send for removing stubborn nail polishes like glitters, you stick your fingers in the little slots and spin them around and once you pull your finger out...wallah! nail polish is gone!

MAC Viva Glam Cyndi - I'm getting more into lipstick lately, i've always been a lipgloss girl but i'm finding really pretty lipsticks out there. Cyndi is no exception it's a soft watermelon shade that is really buildable and would probably be wearable for most skin tones. Plus all proceeds from Viva Glam lip products go to the AIDS foundation so not only will you have gorgeous lips, you're helping a good cause.

China Glaze - Atlantis - This is probably my favourite nail polish I own, and if i'm ever painting a friends nails this is what I always put on them because the reaction is always the same... WOW... I wore it a lot this month because I decided to take only 2 colours away with me (this being on of them)

Music wise, my favourite album this month has been Hold Me Down by You Me At Six . These guys are only young and this is there 2nd album. I caught a bit of there set at Soundwave and they sounded great live. They're rumored to be coming here at the end of year so looking forward to seeing them then!

Did you have any favourites in March? Drop me a line and let me know

NOTD – Sportsgirl Nail It & Happy Easter!

Today Sportsgirl had 20% off storewide, so of course I went.

I couldn't find any clothes plus couldn't be bothered trying stuff on I did like, however I got a couple of the new nail colours. It looks like Sportsgirl is jumping onto the Alice in Wonderland bandwagon with the names of these. I only picked up the two that I liked the look of the most and they were

Curiouser - Soft Sky Blue with a slight shimmer - gorgeous colour actually
Cheshire Cat - Mid purple (a bit darker then lilac) with a fine gold shimmer, a little sheer but definitely buildable.

Hardest decision was to pick which to wear, but isn't that always the case with new colours.... so I did something a little fun and decided to wear both!

Some pictures for your viewing pleasure....really crappy shots too, photos are something I need to work on but I think natural light is always best. However this isn't achievable at 10pm!

I actually think the colours work well together. When I showed S he said that my nails looked like easter eggs...quite fitting for this weekend I think.

I also want to wish everyone a safe and happy easter, don't overdo it on the chocolate eggs and hot cross buns. Remember they all go on sale after Sunday :)

Here are some adorable pictures I found on flickr, they are really OMGCUTE! :)

I have a wishlist for…. Supre!

I will admit I am was not a fan of the Australian fashion? label Supre but seeing their latest looks... I actually have a bit of a wishlist! Something I didn't suspect!

Most people that know Supre know that it's generally fluro, loud music, tight as tight clothes and annoying SA's (sorry but they have been in the past), bodyguards at the front?

I went into my local store recently and while I think the place is too cramped and if your carrying a large oversized handbag and perhaps some shopping it becomes a bit of an obstacle...the clothing has gotten good! (I think they still need to work on their music, just quietly)

Here are a couple of things i'm currently thinking would fit in nicely with my winter wardrobe. I could only grab the thumbnail pictures so click the links below to see the full details :)

Colours are very muted and wearable, which is what I like. There are also some really pretty basic tops that I might go and pick up for work ($12ea).

Nice work Supre!!
